How we work
We compare carriers so you don’t have to.
Being a Farmers agent gives us a carrier with real claims infrastructure behind it. Being independent means we can walk away from that carrier when someone else fits you better. Both things are true, and the combination is the reason people move their policies here.
Practically, it works like this: you answer a set of questions once. We take that to the carriers who actually want your profile — the ones who price prior claims fairly, or wood stoves, or a contractor with three trucks. Then we tell you what came back, including when the answer is that your current policy is already the right one.
What we don’t do
We don’t quote a teaser rate and let it climb at renewal. We don’t sell permanent life insurance to people who need term. And we don’t leave a policy sitting untouched for six years while the market moves — re-shopping at renewal is the whole point of using a broker.
At my initial appointment, he took time to review the policy from another company, compare it to what he would recommend. He also explained pros and cons of having more coverage here and not having duplicating coverage in another area. I was switching companies for customer service (family member referred). I found the service to be excellent, in making appt, reminders, paperwork, but more than that, i ended up having better coverage at a lower cost. And no longer need AAA road assist.
